Which dispatch number belongs to your town
No island-wide line exists here: each municipality runs its own dispatch, and the number to use is the one belonging to your point of departure. Below, how the network is arranged and where each number sits — they appear as data on this site, none of them operated by us.

What the dispatch does when you ring
The call is answered and the details noted — where from, where to, what hour, how many people, what bags — then the job is handed to the nearest free car. This is a radio-taxi dispatch, not a desk that confirms a booking on the spot: if nothing is free, they give you an estimated wait or point you at another way.
The town you leave from is the one that matters
What decides it is where you set off from, not where you are going. Leaving Playa Blanca — which sits in the municipality of Yaiza — for Arrecife? Ring the dispatch you are standing in, not the one at the far end. The arrival municipality will not come back to collect you, and two calls in a row seldom sort a journey out.
Where each number is published
They are listed on the page for each zone of this portal, and you will also find them at the town hall, at the tourist office and on the desk of your accommodation. Each one appears exactly as its source publishes it, with the date it was checked at the foot, and a correction is made in one place when it changes. None of this is a booking link, and there is no Lanzarote.taxi dispatch behind the numbers: they are there for you to ring. From an Irish phone, put Spain's country prefix — 0034 — in front of the number as printed.
Why there is no island-wide app
No application gathers the dispatches here, and no platform hands out jobs across the whole of Lanzarote: each municipality runs its own service. If some app promises you cars island-wide, find out which dispatches it actually works with before you hand over any payment details.
Frequently asked questions
What if I ring a neighbouring municipality? +
It is not usual, and it rarely solves anything: each dispatch runs the fleet of its own municipal area and, as a rule, does not collect outside it. The exceptions are the airport and the port of Arrecife, sensitive areas where the Cabildo can bring in taxis from other municipalities. If you are close to a boundary, say exactly where you stand and they will tell you whose number you need.
So does this site run these numbers? +
It publishes them — as a detail that can be corrected in one place when it changes — and it runs none of them. Lanzarote.taxi answers no calls, takes no bookings and charges nothing: the number is there so you can speak to the dispatch yourself.
What should I have ready when they pick up? +
Your exact location — street, door number or a landmark — the hour you want the car, how many passengers there are, what luggage you have and whether you need a wheelchair or an adapted vehicle. Then ask for the estimated time and say it back to them, so that you both know the same thing was understood.
