Radio-taxi phone numbers in Lanzarote
Lanzarote has no single taxi number: there is one per municipality, and yours is the one for the place you are setting off from. This page explains how that network works and where to find the numbers, which are published here as data and are not operated by us.

What a dispatch does
It takes the call, notes the origin, destination, time, number of passengers and luggage, and passes it to the nearest free vehicle. It is a radio-taxi dispatch, not a bookings desk with instant confirmation: if there is no car available they give you an estimated time or point you to another option.
Which municipality is yours
The rule is the place you start from, not the destination. You are leaving Playa Blanca, which is in the municipality of Yaiza, for Arrecife: call the dispatch where you are, not the one in Arrecife. The arrival municipality's number will not pick you up at the start, and chaining two calls rarely fixes the journey.
Where the numbers are
On the pages for each zone of this portal, at the town hall, at the tourist office and at your accommodation's reception. They are published exactly as they appear in their source, with the date they were checked at the foot, and corrected in one place when they change. They are not booking links and there is no Lanzarote.taxi dispatch: the number you see is there for you to call.
No single app for the island
There is no application gathering all the dispatches, nor a platform allocating journeys across the whole of Lanzarote: each municipality runs its own service. If an app promises taxis across the island, check which dispatches it works with before handing over any payment detail.
Frequently asked questions
Can I call the dispatch of another municipality? +
It is not usual and it rarely helps you: each dispatch organises the fleet of its own municipal area and under normal conditions does not pick up outside it; the only exceptions are the airport and the port of Arrecife, sensitive areas where the Cabildo can activate reinforcements with taxis from other municipalities. If you are right on the boundary, say exactly where you are and they will tell you whose it is.
Does this site publish and run those numbers? +
It publishes them, as a detail that can be corrected in one place when it changes, and does not run them. Lanzarote.taxi takes no calls, makes no bookings and charges nothing: the number you see is for you to speak to the dispatch directly.
What do I say when they answer? +
Your exact location — street, number or landmark — what hour you want the vehicle, how many passengers there are, what luggage you have and whether you need a wheelchair or an adapted vehicle. Ask for the estimated time and repeat it back to be sure it matches what was understood.
