Privacy policy

This site is designed to collect as little information as possible: there are no accounts, no forms processed on the server and no advertising. Even so, any visit produces technical data, and this page explains which.

legal@lanzarote.taxi

What data is collected

The site asks for no name, email, phone number or payment details. The server automatically logs the IP address, the date and time of the request, the resource requested and the browser, for technical and security reasons. These are not combined with any other source and are not used for profiling.

Purpose and legal basis

The technical log is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. There is no other purpose: no newsletters are sent, no advertisements are published and no data is shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention

Server logs are kept for as long as is necessary for technical security and, in any case, within the periods set by the regulations. Once that period has passed they are deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to the address given in the legal notice and proving your identity. If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

What this site is

Informational portal. We neither sell nor book taxi services and have no agreement with any company: the published prices are indicative and the final amount is set by the meter.

Frequently asked questions

Does this site use third-party cookies or trackers?

Before you consent, none. The Google Tag Manager container is loaded on no page until you accept it in the banner: without your answer there are no analytics or advertising cookies, not even a request to Google's servers. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from the domain itself, with no requests to external CDNs.

Is data passed to third parties?

Not for commercial purposes. There are three technical communications with third parties. Viewing the map: when it loads, your browser requests tiles from the OpenStreetMap servers, and that request includes your IP address, as with any web request. Computing the walking route when you press "My location": Valhalla's servers receive your coordinate and the nearest rank's to return the path, with no cookies and no identification. And, only after you allow measurement, loading the Google Tag Manager container from Google's servers, whose request includes your IP too.
