Legal notice and terms of use

Nothing here is for hire: this portal neither operates a taxi nor arranges a journey, and it earns no commission from any taxi company anywhere. What follows are the terms on which Lanzarote.taxi may be read and used.

What the information covers, and what it is for

How the taxi service works on the island is what the content describes; it reproduces the official fares published by Aena and offers estimates of price and journey time that are marked as indicative. An indicative figure is not a binding offer: the meter sets the final amount and the contract is concluded with the service provider.

Intellectual property rights over the texts, marks and data

Published under a free licence, the original texts on the site may be reproduced provided the source is cited. The trademarks, trade names and logos belong to their owners. As for the geographic data, it comes from OpenStreetMap and is distributed under the open ODbL 1.0 licence, which requires attribution to the OpenStreetMap contributors.

Frequently asked questions

Is any taxi service sold or booked through this site?

No. There is no booking form here, no payment gateway and no commercial agreement with any taxi company. Those published phone numbers are the ones of the municipal dispatches, and they are offered as public information.

What is the applicable law?

Spanish legislation applies. Should a dispute arise, the courts of the consumer's domicile are competent, in line with consumer and user regulations.
