The cars for the big day, ordered in advance

Weeks of planning go into a wedding, a first communion or a company dinner, and then one fixed hour arrives when everybody has to be together. Cars for that evening are not summoned by magic: somebody orders them, with the date, the hour and a pick-up point that leaves nobody guessing. Settle all of it well before the date.

Getting several cars at once

A group too big for one car means several taxis booked one behind the other, and that only runs smoothly when the dispatch already knows how many are needed, at what hour and at which door. Write that list before you ring: number of people, age range, where you will be picked up and when you leave. One call carrying everything beats five separate ones.

Pick the spot, and staff it

A wedding brings a doorway, a tight car park and a dressed-up street. Choose somewhere with room for cars to pull in and out, and put a person you trust there, because the driver does not know the place and cannot stop in the middle of the road. If the venue is out in the country, say the access is unpaved.

Notice now, confirmation later

Events are ordered days ahead and confirmed the day before. Through the summer, on bank holidays and across wedding weekends, the whole island is asking for cars at the same hour, and whoever leaves their notice late finds the fleet already promised to other celebrations.

When the plan moves

The meal runs on, somebody lands after the expected time, the dinner shuts earlier or later than planned. Pass the change to the dispatch the moment you know it instead of assuming the car is still sitting there: the driver may be committed to another job on the following shift. For the run back in the early hours, order before the party finishes.

Frequently asked questions

Will this site line up the cars for my event?

No. Lanzarote.taxi is informational and organises no transport: it books no vehicles, charges nothing for it and has agreements with no companies or drivers. The coordination happens directly with the dispatch of the municipality where the event takes place.

Can several cars be booked for the same hour?

Yes, routine at weddings and for large groups. Say so when you ring — how many vehicles you need and the pick-up point — and the dispatch confirms what can be covered, telling you if any part of it exceeds the available fleet.

And if the party runs into the early hours?

Nothing is lost, provided you gave notice. Beyond a certain hour the night fare applies, so ask about that if you expect a late finish; and order the return before the party ends, not once the place has emptied.
